The forthcoming budget of Kushma Municipality is 752.9 million

The budget, policy and program of Kushma Municipality for the coming fiscal year has been made public. The seventh municipal council of Kushma Municipality has made public the budget of Rs. 752.9 million for the coming fiscal year 078/79. Out of the allocated amount, Rs. 150 million has been allocated for administrative expenses. Out of the budget, financial equalization grant received from the Government of Nepal is Rs. 141.5 million, Rs. 16.7 million from Gandaki Pradesh, Rs. 88.32 million from revenue sharing and Rs. The budget has been proposed based on grants received from the Government of Nepal under various headings and internal revenue. In the budget, Rs. 25 million has been allocated for the supplementary fund, Rs. 10 million for social development and Rs. 4.5 million for the contingency fund / disaster management fund. Kushma Municipality has allocated Rs. 58.1 million in the health sector including corona virus prevention in the budget of the coming fiscal year. I have allocated Rs. 295.5 million for education, Rs. 11.1 million for agriculture and Rs. 81.6 million for infrastructure. Rs. 5 million has been allocated for the construction of clock tower in Kushma and Rs. 22.6 million has been allocated for the establishment of Senior Citizens Day Service Center. Similarly, Rs. 7 million has been allocated for human development and Rs. 1.4 million for the Judicial Committee. The municipality has allocated Rs. 1 million for the media sector. Mayor Ram Chandra Joshi presented the policy and program in the municipal council. Stating that his tenure has reached the final stage, he said that he has succeeded in making Kushma a prosperous city. On the occasion, Deputy Chief Sita Kafle Lamichhane presented the budget for the coming fiscal year.
