According to Bishwaraj Adhikari, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Parbat, the police have stepped up their activities for the control and prevention of corona virus. ‘Corona is widespread in the community. We have set up checkposts in some places keeping in mind the possibility of high risk while walking without work, ”he said. Police have been deployed at various places in the rural areas near Kushma Bazaar for checking.
Police have arrested 63 people from different parts of the district for carrying out urgent work in violation of the ban. DSP Adhikari said that they were held for an hour to hold the awareness placards and released. According to him, 20 motorcycles and 10 vehicles violating the curfew have been detained and alerted.
District Police Office, Parbat has arrested two bridegrooms in Jaljala Gaonpalika-2 of the district. Police have arrested 23-year-old Pradip Pariyar and 24-year-old Raj Kumar Pariyar after receiving information that the two had got married two months ago. During the lockdown period, citizens will not be allowed to go out of the house and walk, cinema halls, public meetings, processions, sports and other crowded events will be completely closed, only regular worship will be held in temples, and only 10 people will be able to participate in marriage and death rites.
Similarly, ambulances, fire engines, hearses, food items, fruits, fish, meat, gas, petrol, press vehicles will be allowed to operate, banks and financial institutions should be operated alternately in the presence of low staff, said CCMC Parbat. Provision has been made to carry out development works in compliance with health safety standards, to close services of microfinance, cooperatives and companies completely, to open pharmacies and health institutions round the clock and to open food shops only from 7 am to 10 am and 5 pm to 7 pm
