 उन्होंने गुरुवार को तानाहु ब्यास नगर पालिका में बुलडीखोला में पुल का उद्घाटन किया।  बुधवार को जिस पुल का उद्घाटन नहीं हो सका, उसका उद्घाटन आज किया गया।

 पुडेल गुरुवार को सैकड़ों कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ताओं के साथ पुल के उद्घाटन पर पहुंचे।  बुधवार को जिला प्रशासन कार्यालय ने पुल क्षेत्र में एक निरोधक आदेश जारी किया, जिसमें पुडेल से पुल का उद्घाटन नहीं करने का आग्रह किया गया।

 लेकिन जब पुल का उद्घाटन करने गए और तीन घंटे के बाद उन्हें छोड़ दिया गया, तो पोडेल को नियंत्रण में ले लिया गया।  हालांकि, प्रशासन ने गुरुवार को पुल के उद्घाटन में बाधा नहीं डाली। !   In the end, the Communists were defeated by senior Nepali Congress leader Ram Chandra Poudel.
