फेसबुकमाथि झण्डै ७२ करोड रुपैयाँ जरिवाना

 दक्षिण कोरिया ने फेसबुक पर 720 करोड़ रुपये का जुर्माना लगाया है।

 उपयोगकर्ता की सहमति और अनुमति के बिना तीसरे पक्ष के ऑपरेटर को उपयोगकर्ता डेटा प्रदान करने के लिए फेसबुक पर 6 लाख का जुर्माना लगाया गया है।

 दक्षिण कोरिया के निजी सूचना सुरक्षा आयोग ने बुधवार को फेसबुक पर जुर्माना लगाया और आपराधिक जांच शुरू करने का फैसला किया।

 अगस्त में गठित आयोग ने एक बयान में कहा कि अनुसंधान से पता चला है कि फेसबुक ने दक्षिण कोरिया के 18 मिलियन फेसबुक उपयोगकर्ताओं को अन्य ऑपरेटरों को कम से कम 3.3 मिलियन की व्यक्तिगत जानकारी प्रदान की थी।  आयोग 2012 से 2018 तक के आंकड़ों के विश्लेषण और जांच के आधार पर इस तरह के निष्कर्ष पर पहुंचा है।  आयोग ने कहा कि फेसबुक उपयोगकर्ताओं को उनके डेटा प्राप्त करने वाले तीसरे पक्ष के बारे में कोई अनुमोदन या जानकारी नहीं है।

 फेसबुक लॉगिन के भीतर से अन्य ऑपरेटरों की सेवाओं का उपयोग करते समय, उन ऑपरेटरों को उपयोगकर्ता के फेसबुक मित्रों की व्यक्तिगत जानकारी भी प्राप्त होती रही है।

 आयोग के अनुसार, फेसबुक के आयरलैंड कार्यालय को जुर्माने की सूचना दी गई है और कंपनी में आपराधिक जांच की सिफारिश की गई है।

 दक्षिण कोरियाई राजधानी में स्थित फेसबुक के एक प्रवक्ता ने कहा कि उसने जांच में सरकार का पूरा सहयोग किया और फेसबुक के खिलाफ आपराधिक आरोपों की जांच के आयोग के फैसले पर खेद जताया।

 हालांकि, फेसबुक कंपनी के प्रबंधन ने कहा कि आयोग के फैसले की पूरी समीक्षा लंबित थी, लेकिन आगे टिप्पणी करने से इनकार कर दिया ।

 Facebook has been fined लाख 6 million for providing user data to a third-party operator without the user's consent and permission.

 South Korea's Personal Information Security Commission on Wednesday fined Facebook and decided to launch a criminal investigation.

 The commission, set up in August, said in a statement that research had shown that Facebook had provided personal information to at least 3.3 million of South Korea's 18 million Facebook users to other operators.  The commission has reached such a conclusion on the basis of data analysis and investigation from 2012 to 2018.  The commission said Facebook users did not have any approval or information about third parties receiving their data.

 While using the services of other operators from within the Facebook login, those operators have been receiving the personal information of the user's Facebook friends as well.

 According to the commission, Facebook's Ireland-based office has been notified of the fine and recommended a criminal investigation into the company.

 A spokesman for Facebook, based in the South Korean capital, said it had fully cooperated with the government in the investigation and regretted the commission's decision to investigate criminal charges against Facebook.

 However, the management of the Facebook company said that a full review of the commission's decision was pending, but declined to comment further.
