सत्तारूढ़ कम्युनिस्ट पार्टी ऑफ नेपाल (CPN) के कार्यकारी अध्यक्ष पुष्पा कमल दहल प्रचंड ने गुरुवार को परसा में मारे गए CPN (माओवादी) जिले के सदस्य मुकेश चौरसिया के हत्यारे के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई की मांग की है।

प्रचंड ने रविवार को जारी एक बयान में कहा कि यह आश्चर्य का विषय था कि जब हत्या जैसा जघन्य अपराध हुआ तब भी जांच दल मामला दर्ज करने से हिचक रहा था।

 उन्होंने सरकार से मांग की है कि जो भी दोषी हो, उसे कानूनी कार्रवाई के दायरे में लाएं।

गुरुवार को परसा जिले के बिंदवासिनी गांव में सीपीएन (माओवादी) के दो गुटों के बीच झड़प में गाँव नगरपालिका के सचिव और सीपीएन (माओवादी) जिले के सदस्य मुकेश चौरसिया की मौत हो गई।

 सीपीएन (माओवादी) के नेता और कैडर परसा में यह कहते हुए विरोध कर रहे हैं कि पुलिस ने हत्या में शामिल लोगों के खिलाफ कोई कार्रवाई करने से इनकार कर दिया है।

यह प्रचंड का बयान है

यह एक सर्वविदित तथ्य है कि पार्टी जिला समिति के सदस्य और ग्राम सचिव, कामरेड मुकेश चौरसिया पर 25 अक्टूबर, 2008 को परसा जिले के बिंदवासिनी ग्राम पार्टी समिति के शपथ ग्रहण समारोह के दौरान कुछ अवांछित तत्वों द्वारा हमला किया गया था।

इस संबंध में, पार्टी की जिला समिति के प्रभारी, अध्यक्ष और सचिव ने हत्या की निंदा की। यह भी ज्ञात है कि चौरसिया को शहीद घोषित करने और हत्यारे के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई करने की मांग करते हुए एक बयान जारी किया गया था।

Executive Chairman of the ruling Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has demanded strict action against the killer of CPN (Maoist) district member Mukesh Chaurasia who was killed in Parsa on Thursday.

He has strongly demanded the government to bring whoever is guilty under the ambit of legal action.

Secretary of the village municipality and CPN (Maoist) district member Mukesh Chaurasia was killed in a clash between two groups of the CPN (Maoist) in Bindwasini village of Parsa district on Thursday.

Leaders and cadres of the CPN (Maoist) have been protesting in Parsa saying that the police have refused to take any action against those involved in the murder.

It is a well known fact that Comrade Mukesh Chaurasia, a member of the Pari Party District Committee and Village Secretary, was killed in an attack by some unwanted elements at the swearing-in ceremony of the Bindwasini Village Party Committee of Parsa District on October 25, 2077 BS.

 In this regard, the in-charge, chairperson and secretary of the party's district committee condemned the killing. It is also known that a statement was issued demanding to declare Chaurasia a martyr and take strict action against the killer.

As the executive chairman of the party center, I support the statement and strongly urge the government to bring whoever is guilty to justice.

Even when there is a heinous crime like murder, the reluctance of the local body to register a case has come as a surprise. I urge the central government to take immediate action against the culprits and express my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. "
