सीपीएन  के गठन के बाद भी कर्ण प्रदेश के नेता काठमांडू में फंसे हुए हैं। पूरे दिन बलुवतार और खुमताल में भटकने के बाद भी वे दोनों राष्ट्रपतियों से एक साथ नहीं मिल पाए हैं और उनके बीच की बातचीत को भी नहीं सुन पाए हैं। हर जगह कोरोना फैलने के कारण कल की तरह बैठकों के लिए कोई खुली स्थिति नहीं है।

कुछ दिनों के बाद, अध्यक्ष और प्रधान मंत्री द्वारा दिए गए निर्देशों को रद्द नहीं किया जा सका। सूत्रों के अनुसार, अगर पार्टी केंद्र ने सोमवार शाम तक ठोस निर्णय नहीं लिया तो कर्णाली राज्य सरकार को पुनर्गठित किया जाएगा।

इस बीच, जनार्दन शर्मा, जिन्हें एक मंत्री होने की अफवाह थी, ने बलुवतार की मुलाकात के अनुरोध को भी ठुकरा दिया। शर्मा शनिवार को बैठक में नहीं गए थे जब उन्हें बैठक के लिए बुलाया गया था।

हाल के घटनाक्रमों के कारण, सीपीएन (माओवादी) का आगामी आम सम्मेलन भी अनिश्चित होता जा रहा है। हालांकि, बलुवतार ने सभी पार्टी समितियों में बहुमत का दावा करने में संकोच नहीं किया। सचिवालय, स्थायी समिति और संसदीय दलों पर उनकी पकड़ मजबूत होती जा रही है क्योंकि उन्होंने पूर्व माओवादी नेताओं को अपने पक्ष में कर लिया है।
