 Drinking water supply in Bagarphant of the Parbat has been cut off due to landslide

Drinking water supply has been restored in Bagarphant in Ward No. 2 and 3 of Jaljala Govt.

A landslide near the suspension bridge connecting Kalipul on Friday night had washed away the pipeline of the Waribeni Lift Drinking Water Project.

Loknath Regmi, chairman of the consumer organization of the Waribeni Lift Drinking Water Project, informed that regular drinking water supply has been informed from Tuesday by laying a new pipeline in the landslide-damaged area.

The technicians, office bearers and locals of Bagarphant had spent two days at risk in repairing the pipeline. Chairman Regmi said that the footpath destroyed by the landslide connecting Bagarphant along the pipeline has also been repaired.

In Bagarphant, 225 households have been consuming drinking water including private taps distributed by the organization. There was shortage of drinking water in Bagarphat due to non-supply of water from the project.

Bagarphant has been cut off from traffic for two and a half months after the floods in Kaligandaki on July 10, 11 and 12 washed away the road at the foot of the hill.

Ward Chairperson Ravi Bhandari said that a demand has been made to build a motorable bridge connecting Kalipul to Bagarphant as there is a problem of cutting the road every year.

भूस्खलन की वजह से पहाड़ के बागरियो में पेयजल आपूर्ति में कटौती हुई है

जलजला सरकार के वार्ड नंबर 2 और 3 में बगरियो में पेयजल आपूर्ति बहाल कर दी गई है।

शुक्रवार रात कालीपुल को जोड़ने वाले सस्पेंशन ब्रिज के पास भूस्खलन ने वारिबेनी लिफ्ट ड्रिंकिंग वाटर प्रोजेक्ट की पाइपलाइन को धो दिया था।

वारिबेनी लिफ्ट ड्रिंकिंग वाटर प्रोजेक्ट के उपभोक्ता संगठन के अध्यक्ष लोकनाथ रेगमी ने बताया कि भूस्खलन से क्षतिग्रस्त क्षेत्र में नई पाइपलाइन बिछाकर मंगलवार से नियमित पेयजल आपूर्ति शुरू कर दी गई है।

बागरू के तकनीशियनों, पदाधिकारियों और स्थानीय लोगों ने पाइपलाइन की मरम्मत में जोखिम में दो दिन बिताए थे। चेयरमैन रेगमी ने कहा कि भार्गुल को पाइपलाइन के साथ जोड़ने वाले भूस्खलन से नष्ट हुए फुटपाथ की भी मरम्मत की गई है।

बागरू में, 225 घरों में संगठन द्वारा वितरित निजी नल सहित पीने के पानी का उपभोग किया गया है। परियोजना से पानी की आपूर्ति नहीं होने के कारण बागराफात में पीने के पानी की कमी थी।

10, 11 और 12 जुलाई को कालीगंडकी में आई बाढ़ के बाद ढाई महीने के लिए बागरियो को काट दिया गया है और पहाड़ी की तलहटी में सड़क बह गई।

वार्ड के चेयरपर्सन रवि भंडारी ने कहा कि कालीपुल से बघोरी को जोड़ने वाले मोटरेबल ब्रिज बनाने की मांग की गई है क्योंकि हर साल सड़क कटने की समस्या होती है।
