According to the police, a Nepali working in Malaysia was arrested after receiving a complaint from the CIB that he had taken Rs 1.6 million as a ransom from a bank in Nepal. The relatives of the victim had lodged a complaint with the police.

Shrestha, who is in the custody of the CIB, will undergo PCR on Wednesday, police said. A CIB source said that he would be made public after that.
