 Kathmandu, September 26 Despite an agreement between the two chairpersons of the ruling Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal to reorganize the cabinet, there are indications that there will be some delay in the process of reshuffling the ministry.

According to a source, there will be some delay in the reorganization of the Council of Ministers due to disagreement between the two presidents over the division of ministries. Prime Minister Oli has not been able to agree after President Dahal discussed the issue of handing over some of the ministries currently held by the Eastern UML group to the former Maoist group.

Dahal had proposed to Prime Minister Oli that all the ministers should be removed at once and a new cabinet should be formed and the ministries should be redistributed in a new way.

‘Dahal has proposed to remove all the ministers and make a new MP a minister. Oli has said that not all of them should be dismissed after two years of age or some others, but he has not agreed to change the ministry, 'said a source close to Baluwatar.

Sources claim that Dahal has proposed to give the ministry of information and communication to the former Maoist group. According to sources, the ex-Maoist group will not leave the Ministry of Drinking Water until Melamchi drinking water is brought to Kathmandu. The Prime Minister has said that communication will not be possible as there is no discrimination in handing over the ministries of home, education, energy, drinking water and industry to the former Maoists.

Dahal had said that he would leave another ministry after receiving communication. "Dahal may have tried to get the communications ministry on his side, but the prime minister did not want to listen to him and did not do much," the source said. According to sources, Dahal had proposed to reorganize the cabinet as Madhav Nepal's side had said that all the ministers would be removed and others would be given shifts.

The licenses of Hello Nepal Communication, Web Surfer Nepal and Smart Telecommunication, which are now owned by Ajay Sumargi, have been suspended under the Ministry of Communications, while there are dozens of other projects.
