71 corona infected in Gandaki including teachers and construction workers

Another 71 people were confirmed to be infected with the corona virus in Gandaki on Sunday.

According to the state health directorate, 71 new cases of Gandaki have been reported in the test conducted at the Tuberculosis Treatment Center, Pokhara on Sunday.

Among the newly infected people are 31 from Baglung, 21 from Kaski, 16 from Lamjung and three from Nawalparasi East. Vinod Bindu Sharma informed.

Among the infected, two men aged 27 and 38 of Pokhara Metropolitan City-3 are working in Nepal Police while seven others of Ward No. 3 are working for the construction of apartments under construction in Tersapatti.

Similarly, a 35-year-old man from Lamjung's Mid-Nepal-6 is a local school teacher, while most of the infected people from Baglung are from India and some are from Japan, Oman, Dubai and Canada. All other infections are detected through contact tracing. Preparations are underway to take all the infected to the isolation center.

At the same time, the number of corona infections in Gandaki has reached 3,744.
